Tuż po tym jak słynny film „Titanic” odniósł wielki sukces młody Leo postanowił zainwestować swoje ciężko zarobione pieniądze. Kupił położony na plaży dom w Malibu. 1998 roku kosztował 1,6 miliona dolarów. 23 lata później aktor zgarnął za niego prawie 10 – krotnie większą, okragłą sumę.

Ulubiony dom.

Mimo że Leonardo ma także inne domy położone nad brzegiem oceanu, ta posiadłość, znajdująca się w rejonie słynnej części Carbon Beach była jego ulubioną. Dom został zbudowany 1951 roku i choć z pewnością należy do komfortowych z nieocenionym widokiem i bezpośrednim dostępem do plaży, nie jest typowym domem celebryty do jakiego przywykliśmy.
